About ErHu, 二胡, Chinese Violin
Erhu, known as in the West as the 'Chinese Violin' or Chinese two strings
fiddle, is a two-stringed bowed musical instrument, used as a solo
instrument as well as in small ensembles and large orchestras.
The Erhu consists of a long vertical stick-like neck, at the top there are
two large tuning pegs, and at the bottom is a small resonator body
(sound box) which is covered with python skin on the front (playing)
end. Two strings are attached from the pegs to the sound box above the
skin, between the string and the sound box, there's a small wooden bridge;
beneath the bridge you can put a sponge to cut the noisy sound off.

Why does the Erhu sound so touching and moving?
Because it has the sound that is very intimate, exquisite, tugs at your heart's strings and is close to the inner humanistic heart.
Let me strongly recommend an Erhu to you if you want to learn a beautiful stringed instrument.
This is a good Erhu to start with (the package included almost everything you need) if you need one to learn how to play,
and eventually you'll enter the fantastic world of traditional Chinese musical instruments!
What can the ErHu show you?
I can personally teach you how to play along with other students and you will be on the stage very soon!! Please find my students perfomance video links at YouTube:
